The AMG® Sport Exhaust System utilizes variable vanes in the main exhaust chamber to regulate the flow of engine exhaust. Then it tailors the pitch of the sound to your driving situation. When you kick into high gear with Sport and Sport+ mode, the vanes open completely to produce that full-throated roar as you take off. Round exhaust ports look almost like jet engines.
